– Label your boxes appropriately. Label them for the room, with the contents and if they’re fragile.
– Use good quality boxes and seal them properly.
– When moving cabinets, wardrobes etc, wrap or tie the doors closed so they don’t open unexpectedly.
– If you need to regularly access items in your unit, pack them near the front for easy access.
– Always take care when manually handling items. Use appropriate trucks or trolleys and try to have someone on hand to help.
